Brayden Point Leads Lightning to Overtime Win

Brayden Point scored a power-play goal in overtime, leading the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 3-2 victory over the Nashville Predators. Anthony Cirelli and Brandon Hagel also contributed goals, while Jonas Johnasson recorded 29 saves for the Lightning, who have won two of their last three games. Roman Josi scored both goals for Nashville, which has now lost three straight. Cirelli, recovering from an earlier injury, managed to score and has tallied eight goals in eight games. Despite earning points from back-to-back overtime losses, Nashville struggles with a poor start to the season and needs wins to improve its playoff chances. The Lightning will face the Toronto Maple Leafs next, while the Predators will visit the Minnesota Wild.
