Father Arrested After Port Huron Shooting Kills Teen, Injures Two Children

A 44-year-old father was arrested in Port Huron after allegedly shooting his three children early Thursday morning, resulting in the death of his 17-year-old son and critical injuries to his 13-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter. The incident occurred at an apartment complex on Glenview Court around 6:10 a.m. Multiple 911 calls prompted police response, where officers found the children suffering from gunshot wounds and provided emergency aid before transporting them to hospitals. The mother and a 20-year-old sibling intervened to prevent further violence. Police described the shooting as a domestic-related incident and confirmed the suspect is cooperating with investigators, who plan to file criminal charges.
