Maxwell Award Semifinalists Announced for 2024

Ashton Jeanty, a standout running back for Boise State, has been named a semifinalist for both the Walter Camp Award and the Maxwell Award, leading the nation in rushing yards (1,734) and touchdowns (23). He has been recognized for his exceptional performance this season, including a recent game where he rushed for 209 yards and three touchdowns. Kaleb Johnson from Iowa is also a semifinalist for the Maxwell Award, achieving a school-record 126 points scored this season. Johnson's 20 rushing touchdowns tie a school record, showcasing his significant contribution to Iowa's success. Jalen Milroe, Alabama's quarterback, has been acknowledged as a Maxwell Award semifinalist as well, following impressive performances that include 185 rushing yards and four touchdowns against LSU. The voting for the Maxwell Award semifinalists will close on November 23, with finalists to be announced shortly thereafter.
