King’s Tour Art Exhibition Opens at Palace

Buckingham Palace is hosting 'The King’s Tour Artists,' an exhibition displaying over 70 artworks from King Charles III's private collection, created during his royal tours to nearly 100 countries over the past 40 years. The show features paintings, sketches, and digital art by 43 artists, many produced en plein air or developed from sketches after the tours. Included are notable works such as a 1985 watercolor by King Charles and portraits from previously unseen tours. This marks the first time many of these pieces are exhibited together, with at least one work from each participating artist. The exhibition highlights the diversity of artistic interpretations and celebrates King Charles's commitment to supporting the arts. It is open to the public as part of Buckingham Palace's summer opening from July 10 to September 28, 2025.
