Teens Charged with Murder in Clovis Shooting
Four teenagers aged 15 to 16 have been charged with murder following a fatal shooting in Clovis, New Mexico, during an attempted gun sale that escalated into violence. The victim, 26-year-old Marcos Ramirez, was shot and killed after meeting the teens in a parking lot to sell them a gun. Investigations revealed the teens attempted to pay Ramirez with fake money, leading to the shooting. Two of the teens, Jacob Garcia and Diego Corona, suffered gunshot wounds after the man accompanying Ramirez fired back. The boys were subsequently hospitalized, while the other suspects, Gustavo Herrera Jr. and Jacob Lavato, have been apprehended. The case remains under investigation, with police continuing to search for additional suspects involved in the incident.
