Oakland and Kokomo Women Arrested in Drug Busts

A 57-year-old woman in Oakland Township was arrested in a drug bust after investigators found 1,153 methamphetamine pills disguised as Adderall, 22 morphine pills, and over $37,000 in cash. The Oakland County Sheriff's Office's Narcotics Enforcement Team conducted a two-month investigation before executing a search warrant. Sheriff Michael Bouchard emphasized the dangers of such counterfeit pills, which can be fatal as buyers often don't know the true content. The case is expected to be handed over to prosecutors, with charges possibly being announced soon. In a separate case, Danielle Bradley from Kokomo was arrested for dealing methamphetamine in front of a child, with multiple felony charges including possession and child neglect. These incidents reflect the ongoing challenges law enforcement faces with drug-related crimes and the risks posed by counterfeit drugs.
