Spirit Airlines Flight Diverted After Gunfire in Haiti

Following the attack, Spirit Airlines and American Airlines announced the suspension of flights to Haiti, with the civil aviation authority halting all operations at the airport until at least November 18. The U.S. Embassy warned that the security situation in Haiti remains unpredictable and dangerous, emphasizing that travel within the country is at one's own risk.
