Van Pallandt is seeking $150,000 in damages, citing that his quiz was not intended for mass-market use at a college football game and that the incident led to public ridicule of his brand. MSU's athletic director apologized for the offensive content, stating that an employee was disciplined and that the university would implement stricter content approval processes. The university has also pledged not to use the third-party quiz source in the future.
