EU Greenhouse Gas Emissions Drop 8% in 2023

The EU's emissions are now 37% below 1990 levels, reinforcing confidence in achieving the 55% reduction target by 2030. However, current policies are projected to achieve only a 43% reduction by 2030, indicating a need for further efforts.
