Santa Rosa Man Arrested DUI After Two-Car Collision Injures Two

Martinez was found to be under the influence of drugs and in possession of controlled substances and narcotics paraphernalia, and he was on probation with prior convictions and an outstanding arrest warrant. Separately, 32-year-old Jabari Simms-Youth was arrested after reports of him repeatedly hitting the center median on Highway 12; he was also found driving under the influence of drugs and in possession of fentanyl. These arrests come amid intensified Santa Rosa Police Department efforts to enforce DUI laws, especially around school zones, resulting in numerous citations and multiple DUI arrests over the past few weeks.
