Former Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Tim Bowens has been named the 28th member of the Dolphins' Ring of Honor, marking the first addition in a decade. His former teammate, Hall of Famer Zach Thomas, delivered the emotional news during a press conference, praising Bowens for his toughness, durability, and selflessness. Bowens, who played for the Dolphins from 1994 to 2004, was the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year and a two-time Pro Bowler. He will be officially inducted during a special halftime ceremony on October 27 when the Dolphins host the Arizona Cardinals. Bowens is remembered for his significant contributions, including 414 tackles, 22 sacks, and 155 career starts, the most by an interior defensive lineman in Dolphins history.
