Bubbles, Michael Jackson's pet chimpanzee, is living a content life at the Center for Great Apes in Florida, enjoying activities like exploring tunnels, building nests, and painting at 41 years old. Weighing 180 pounds, Bubbles interacts well with visitors and other chimps, showing no signs of past abuse. Despite once being closely linked to Michael Jackson, Bubbles does not exhibit a preference for Jackson's music. The sanctuary, supported by the Michael Jackson Estate, provides Bubbles with care, including visits from family and treats from fans, at an annual cost of $27,000. The sanctuary does not plan to commemorate the 15-year anniversary of Jackson's passing.
