Carowinds Opens Adults-Only Swim-Up Bar, Shore Club for Memorial Day

Carowinds is launching its first-ever adults-only waterpark section called the Carolina Harbor Shore Club, opening on Memorial Day weekend. This 27,280-square-foot area features a nearly 4,000-square-foot pool, Paul Metto's swim-up Boathouse Bar, six luxury cabanas with TVs, mini-fridges, and concierge service, along with a lawn for poolside games. Access requires guests to be 21 or older, with those under 21 needing an adult guardian. Entry to the Shore Club is included with general admission or season passes, which have been promoted as a good value for the summer. In addition to the new adults-only section, Carowinds is debuting family-friendly attractions like the Snoopy’s Racing Railway roller coaster and the Charlie Brown’s River Raft Blast interactive ride in the Camp Snoopy children’s area. These additions mark a new era for Carowinds under its new parent company, Six Flags Entertainment Corp.
