PennDOT road closures this weekend

Several road closures and construction activities are affecting local traffic in Pennsylvania and Ohio this week. In Easttown Township, Devon State Road will experience lane closures for stormwater improvement work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays. Montgomery County's Interstate 75 will have intermittent closures on Monday night due to construction, with short-term full closures expected. Additionally, the Pennsylvania Turnpike will see overnight closures on July 28 for aerial electrical work and bridge beam placement, affecting both directions between Morgantown and Downingtown from midnight to 6 a.m. Lastly, an accident involving multiple vehicles temporarily shut down a section of the Turnpike in Cranberry Township early Friday morning, but no injuries were reported and the road reopened after two hours.
