Northern Nevada Experiences Multiple Earthquakes Including 4.8 Magnitude Shock

Northern Nevada has experienced a series of earthquakes, including a 4.8 magnitude quake on Saturday near Valmy, which was initially measured at 5.3 magnitude before being downgraded. This seismic activity is part of a larger swarm, with over 20 quakes recorded in the region within a week, many ranging between 2.5 and 3.8 magnitudes, and felt as far away as Boise.
