A foiled terror plot targeting Taylor Swift's concerts in Vienna involved two teenage suspects planning to use knives and homemade explosives to maximize casualties. The main suspect, a 19-year-old with North Macedonian roots, confessed to his intentions, revealing that he had downloaded bomb-making manuals and possessed materials for explosives, including hydrogen peroxide and detonators. Authorities discovered Islamic State-related propaganda, indicating the suspect's radicalization. His accomplice, a 17-year-old Austrian of Turkish and Croatian descent, was arrested near the concert venue, where he had recently started working. A 15-year-old who had been in contact with the suspects is also being questioned. Interior Minister Gerhard Karner stated that the situation was serious but emphasized that a tragedy was averted, leading to the cancellation of three sold-out concerts.
