Mbappe Returns to France Squad for UEFA Nations League Quarterfinals

Kylian Mbappé has been recalled to the French national team after being absent for the last two international breaks, as France prepares for the UEFA Nations League quarter-finals against Croatia. Manager Didier Deschamps confirmed that Mbappé will once again lead the team as captain. His previous omissions were partly due to personal requests and coaching decisions aiming to manage his fitness, especially following a challenging Euro performance. Alongside Mbappé, 19-year-old Desire Doue received his first call-up after impressive performances at Paris Saint-Germain. Aurelien Tchouameni also returns to the squad, while N’Golo Kanté is sidelined due to injury. The first leg of the quarter-final will take place in Split on March 20, with the return match in Paris on March 23.
