West Virginia Women Defeat Colorado 73-46

The No. 20 West Virginia University women's basketball team avenged an earlier loss to Colorado by defeating the Buffaloes 73-46 at home. Led by seniors JJ Quinerly and Sydney Shaw, who each scored 19 points, WVU forced 30 turnovers, significantly contributing to their victory. After falling behind in the first quarter, the Mountaineers turned the game around with a strong defensive effort, allowing just one field goal in the second quarter and closing the half with an 11-0 run. Despite a brief lead change by Colorado in the third quarter, WVU responded with a 15-0 run, ultimately extending their lead to secure the win. This victory improved their record to 14-3 and reaffirmed their home dominance, as they remain undefeated at the WVU Coliseum this season.
