Motorcyclist Killed in Staffordshire Hit-and-Run

A young motorcyclist in his 20s was killed in a suspected hit-and-run incident on the A500 near Audley, shortly before 10pm on October 4. The biker collided with the central reservation and was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Staffordshire Police are searching for a dark-colored vehicle that reportedly left the scene before officers arrived and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward. The family of the deceased has expressed their devastation and is urging the public to assist in finding the driver responsible. The road was closed for approximately 13 hours for an accident investigation. Police have informed the next of kin and will prepare a file for the coroner.
