WWE Saturday Night's Main Event Returns December 14

WWE is set to revive Saturday Night’s Main Event, with the first episode scheduled for December 14, 2024, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. The event will air live on NBC and Peacock, featuring an 'old school' presentation complete with retro graphics and music. WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is confirmed to face Kevin Owens, and the show will also crown the first-ever WWE Women’s United States Champion. Notably, WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart is the only legend confirmed to appear, with rumors of Jesse Ventura joining as a commentator. This marks the return of the series, which last aired in 2008, and aims to connect with fans through nostalgia. The event is part of WWE's new media rights partnership with NBCUniversal, which includes quarterly specials.
