‘Karate Kid’ Actor Martin Kove Allegedly Bites, Kisses Co-Star at Washington Fan Convention

Martin Kove, famed for his role as John Kreese in The Karate Kid and Cobra Kai, was asked to leave a fan convention in Puyallup, Washington, after allegedly biting his co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim on the arm during a VIP meet-and-greet. According to police reports, Kove bit Hannah-Kim so hard that it nearly drew blood and then kissed the spot where he bit her, prompting her and her husband to confront him. Kove reportedly reacted angrily, claiming he was trying to be "funny" and that they "play fight all the time on the set of Cobra Kai." While Hannah-Kim chose not to press charges, she filed a police report and had photographs taken of the bite mark, which was described as very noticeable and bruising. Police intervened to deescalate the situation, and Kove apologized to Hannah-Kim and her husband before being ordered to leave the event.
