Tom Girardi Convicted of Embezzling $15 Million

Disbarred attorney Tom Girardi, 85, was found guilty by a Los Angeles federal jury on four counts of wire fraud for embezzling over $15 million from clients. Girardi, known for his high-profile cases and appearances on 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,' siphoned funds from victims to support a lavish lifestyle, including private jets, jewelry, and funding his estranged wife Erika Jayne's career. Despite defense claims attributing the theft to his firm's CFO, Chris Kamon, and citing Girardi's dementia, the jury convicted him after a brief deliberation. Girardi faces up to 20 years in prison for each count, with sentencing set for December 6.
