DynaRisk Raises $4.7 Million for Cyber Risk Expansion Across EMEA, North America, Asia-Pacific
London-based cyber risk management company DynaRisk has secured $4.7 million in a funding round led by YFM Equity Partners to accelerate product innovation and expand its international presence across EMEA, North America, and Asia-Pacific. Founded in 2016 by CEO Andrew Martin, a former banking cybersecurity expert, DynaRisk provides insurers, brokers, and MGAs with embedded SaaS tools for vulnerability scanning, dark web monitoring, cybersecurity scores, training, and tailored remediation guidance to help reduce cyber risk for consumers and SMEs. The company currently supports over 25 insurance clients worldwide, covering approximately 2.4 million consumers and 800,000 SMEs, including notable firms such as Beazley, Chubb, and Arthur J. Gallagher. Martin highlighted the need for accessible cyber risk management solutions beyond complex enterprise-level software, emphasizing DynaRisk's role in bridging that gap for the insurance sector. The investment will also enhance DynaRisk's commercial and technical operations as demand for cyber insurance grows due to escalating cyber threats, with insurers and brokers under pressure to provide more value to policyholders. YFM Equity Partners praised DynaRisk's strong platforms and client base in one of the fastest-growing insurance segments, reaffirming their support for the company’s global growth and innovation strategy.
