$20,000 Reward for Info on Daily Jackson Murder

An anonymous donor has offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Daily Jackson in New Haven. Jackson, a student at Riverside Academy, was shot on December 3rd while walking on Shelton Avenue and later died at Yale New Haven Hospital. The police believe the attack was targeted and possibly connected to an earlier shooting of Jackson's friend, 16-year-old Uzziah Shell, on November 22nd. Surveillance footage captured a suspect shooting from a vehicle, which was later identified as stolen. The New Haven Police Department and State’s Attorney's Office are aware of the reward but are not directly involved in offering it. Authorities continue to investigate, urging anyone with information to contact them via tip lines.
