Louisiana Woman Hits Coworker with SUV, Arrested for Hit-and-Run

A 67-year-old employee, Lillian Sellers, of the Greenbriar Community Care Center in Slidell, Louisiana, has been arrested after hitting a coworker with her SUV in the parking lot and then leaving the scene without providing aid. The victim was initially reported to have fallen but later was found to have injuries consistent with being struck by a vehicle, prompting a police investigation. Surveillance footage revealed Sellers backing up recklessly, striking the victim, briefly exiting her vehicle to retrieve a broken bumper piece, and then returning to work without reporting the incident or assisting the injured woman. Sellers misled coworkers by claiming the victim had simply fallen, while police noted she attempted to cover up the incident by tampering with evidence. Authorities charged Sellers with hit and run causing serious bodily injury, reckless operation, negligent injuring, and obstruction of justice. Police do not believe the incident was intentional but have noted her history of erratic driving in the parking lot.
