Denise Richards Files Restraining Order Alleging Abuse by Ex Aaron Phypers

Denise Richards has filed for a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, accusing him of extensive physical and verbal abuse, including violent assaults such as choking, slapping, and slamming her head into objects. She shared photos of her bruised eye as evidence and claimed Aaron threatened to kill her if she reported him to the police. Denise alleged that Aaron became paranoid in 2022, believing that his potted plants contained listening devices, and that he smashed her in the eye while demanding her phone. Additionally, she accused him of hacking into her laptop and phone to steal and send private messages without her permission. Denise fears for her safety due to Aaron's ownership of unregistered guns and detailed incidents where he violently grabbed her by the hair and slammed her to the ground. Aaron Phypers has denied the abuse allegations, stating he has evidence to counter her claims, while Denise also requested that he attend a batterer intervention program and be prohibited from accessing her devices.
