Two UK Murder Suspects Remanded Over Fatal Stabbings, Prison Death

Alfie Milburn, 19, has been charged with the murder of Harry Abbott, also 19, who was fatally stabbed during a street fight in Leeds on October 8. After the altercation in Seacroft, Abbott was taken to Harehills where he was pronounced dead. Milburn was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Leeds Crown Court later this month. In connection with Abbott's death, three other men have been charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of offensive weapons. Separately, Nathaniel Reece, 44, a prison inmate, has been charged with the murder of fellow prisoner John Mansfield, who died from a head injury at HMP Whitemoor earlier this year. Reece is scheduled to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court via video link.
