Eric Tulsky has been named the permanent general manager of the Carolina Hurricanes, following the departure of Don Waddell. Tulsky, who served as interim GM and has been with the organization since 2014, brings a diverse background in both technology and hockey analytics. Owner Tom Dundon praised Tulsky's management skills, work ethic, and collaborative approach. Tulsky will work closely with the leadership team to build a championship-caliber club, with key decisions ahead regarding free agency. Tulsky holds a Ph.D. in chemistry and has 27 U.S. patents, reflecting his innovative background outside of hockey.
