Boston Celtics Unveil Championship Rings for 2024

The Boston Celtics celebrated their 18th NBA championship by unveiling their championship rings and raising Banner 18 before their season opener against the New York Knicks. The rings feature 15 carats of white diamonds representing the Eastern Conference teams, 16 emerald cut diamonds for playoff victories, and a piece of the parquet floor from their title win. Each ring is engraved with the playoff series results and includes the motto 'Whatever it takes'. During the ceremony, Celtics legends joined current players to commemorate the occasion, with head coach Joe Mazzulla noting the team's exceptional performance. The celebration marks the Celtics' first title in 16 years, breaking a tie with the Lakers for the most championships in NBA history.
