The hit thriller series 'The Day of the Jackal', starring Eddie Redmayne and Lashana Lynch, has been renewed for a second season by Peacock and Sky, just eight days after its debut. The series has achieved remarkable success, becoming the biggest Sky Original in the UK and ranking in the Top 5 on Peacock during its opening weekend. It is based on Frederick Forsyth's 1971 novel and follows a cat-and-mouse chase between a contract killer and a British intelligence officer.
