Scotty T Banned from Driving for Cocaine Offense

Former Geordie Shore star and Celebrity Big Brother winner Scotty T, real name Scott Timlin, has been banned from driving for a year after being caught with cocaine levels three times the legal limit in his system. The 36-year-old was stopped in his Land Rover Discovery in Kenton, Newcastle, on October 18, 2022, and blood tests revealed 32 microgrammes of cocaine per litre of blood, surpassing the legal limit of 10 microgrammes. Additionally, he tested for 800 microgrammes of Benzoylecgonine, a cocaine byproduct, exceeding the legal threshold of 50 microgrammes. Timlin pleaded guilty to these charges at Newcastle magistrates' court, resulting in a £330 fine and £85 in court costs. The incident sheds light on his ongoing struggles with substance abuse, which have affected his career, including his 2018 exit from Geordie Shore due to drug-related issues. Despite these personal challenges, Timlin is reportedly making a comeback with a TV show, Celeb Cooking School.
