Princess Bajrakitiyabha Mahidol, the eldest daughter of Thailand's King Maha Vajiralongkorn and his first wife, has been in a coma since December 2022 after collapsing due to a heart condition. The Thai royal family has recently shared that she is receiving continuous treatment to stabilize her low blood pressure caused by a severe bloodstream infection, with doctors administering antibiotics and medication to support her lungs, kidneys, and overall vital functions. Despite being unconscious for over two years, updates indicate her medical team is closely monitoring her condition at the Chulalongkorn Red Cross Hospital in Bangkok, where she receives broad-spectrum antibiotics and dialysis to manage her deteriorating kidney function.
