Doctors Without Borders (MSF) has ceased its operations in Russia after 32 years, following the Russian Justice Ministry's decision to remove MSF-Netherlands from its register of foreign NGOs. This decision effectively ends MSF's presence in the country, although a branch office in Moscow will remain for non-operational activities. MSF has been providing critical humanitarian and medical aid, including tuberculosis treatment and support for displaced people since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
