The Cyberabad police have successfully dismantled a drug trafficking operation, arresting three suppliers and five consumers while seizing 620 grams of heroin paste valued at approximately Rs 4.3 crore. The arrested suppliers, Mangalaram Choudary, Dinesh Chowdary, and Ganesh Chowdary, are from Rajasthan and were caught attempting to deliver the drugs in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The main supplier, Savar Jhat, remains at large, and authorities suspect connections to suppliers in Pakistan and Afghanistan. The heroin was reportedly smuggled in a vehicle and was intended for local distribution among known associates, some of whom own local businesses. Police have urged the public to confidentially report any drug-related information as investigations continue. This operation highlights the ongoing challenge of drug trafficking in the region, with previous busts involving similar heroin sourcing from Rajasthan.
