Utah Toddler Dies After Going Missing in Uinta-Wasatch National Forest
A 2-year-old child died after being reported missing in the Christmas Meadows area of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Summit County, Utah. Law enforcement found the child shortly after the report and transported them by air ambulance to a hospital in Wyoming before transferring the child to a Salt Lake City hospital, where the child was pronounced dead. A family member was also hospitalized for a separate medical concern, which authorities do not believe is related to the child's condition. The Summit County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the child's death. Authorities have not released further details regarding the nature of the child's disappearance or cause of death. The case remains active with no additional information available at this time.
