Netflix Releases 'Black Rabbit' Trailer Starring Jude Law, Jason Bateman
Netflix has released the trailer for Black Rabbit, an eight-episode limited crime thriller series starring Jude Law and Jason Bateman as brothers navigating the dangerous nightlife underworld of New York City. Law plays Jake Friedkin, a charismatic nightclub owner whose business is threatened when his brother Vince, portrayed by Bateman, returns with a large unpaid debt, putting them at odds with violent criminals including Joe Mancuso, played by Troy Kotsur. Created by Zach Baylin and Kate Susman, the series explores the brothers' complex relationship and the violent consequences of their attempts to repay this debt while preserving their legacy. Bateman directs the first two episodes and serves as an executive producer alongside Law, with additional directing by Laura Linney and Justin Kurzel. The show features intense and graphic scenes, highlighting the high stakes and emotional turmoil faced by the siblings amid threats of hostile takeovers and criminal retaliation. Black Rabbit will debut on Netflix on September 18, shortly after its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
