Javier Águila appointed president of Hyatt Inclusive Collection

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has appointed Javier Águila as president of its Inclusive Collection, effective March 1, 2025. This strategic role, which he will assume alongside his current position as Group President for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, aims to enhance the management of Hyatt's global all-inclusive portfolio, which includes approximately 55,000 rooms across 11 brands. The appointment coincides with Hyatt's recent addition of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts through a joint venture with Grupo Piñero. Mark Hoplamazian, Hyatt's president and CEO, expressed confidence in Águila's ability to drive innovation and growth within the Inclusive Collection, reflecting Hyatt's commitment to delivering tailored experiences to diverse guest bases. This transition is part of Hyatt's broader organizational shift toward a brand-centered approach, which includes the establishment of five distinct brand portfolios. Águila's extensive experience in the all-inclusive sector is expected to further advance Hyatt's leadership position in this market segment.
