WWE Schedules John Cena Final Match Washington Boston New York
John Cena's farewell tour is nearing its conclusion with his final WWE SmackDown appearance scheduled for September 5 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, the same venue where he made his debut on the blue brand in 2002. After this, Cena will have seven remaining appearances, including three on Raw, three premium live events, and one final match at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13, 2025, at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., marking a shift from earlier plans to hold his last match in Boston. Cena's final Raw appearances will be on November 10 in Boston and November 17 in New York City, with these events serving as key stops on his farewell tour. While the opponent for Cena’s retirement match has not been officially announced, speculation points to Brock Lesnar, who has had recent confrontations with Cena. WWE's scheduling and venue decisions reflect logistical challenges and a new streaming partnership with Peacock, which will air the retirement event. Cena’s retirement match will close out a storied career that started with his debut and grew into a legacy of 17 World Championships and memorable rivalries.
