Huawei Set to Launch Watch GT 5 Series

Huawei is set to officially launch its new Watch GT 5 series on September 19, 2024, featuring two sizes: 41mm and 46mm. The smartwatches will come equipped with an updated TruSense health monitoring system capable of measuring various health metrics, including blood pressure, heart rate, and SpO2 levels. Both models will have AMOLED displays, with the 41mm version measuring 1.32 inches and the 46mm version at 1.43 inches, alongside impressive battery life lasting up to 14 days. The design retains elements from previous models while adding new features like Health Glance for quick health assessments and support for over 100 sports modes. Despite the ongoing US ban affecting availability, the Watch GT 5 is anticipated to provide a competitive alternative to devices like the Apple Watch Series 10. Pricing is rumored to start around €250 ($277).
