Additionally, the Record My Ride feature allows drivers to use their smartphone cameras to record video and audio during trips, with encrypted recordings accessible only if submitted to Uber for review. These measures respond to driver feedback and follow successful pilot programs in various U.S. cities. Uber has also banned around 15,000 rider accounts due to fake identities and continues to enhance driver safety protocols.
