Zak Williams Honors Father Robin Williams' Legacy

Zak Williams, son of the late Robin Williams, paid tribute to his father on what would have been his 73rd birthday, sharing a heartfelt message and a black and white photo of the actor. Zak's posts, shared on social media platforms, highlighted the hope and joy Robin brought to the world and mentioned how people frequently express how Robin helped them through tough times. Robin Williams, who died by suicide in 2014 at age 63, had been misdiagnosed with Parkinson's disease; an autopsy later revealed he had Lewy body dementia. Zak, a mental health advocate, co-founded a supplement company called Prepare Your Mind (PYM) to help others facing mental health challenges. Robin's legacy continues to be remembered fondly through his iconic roles in films such as Good Will Hunting, Mrs. Doubtfire, and Dead Poets Society. Zak also named his son McLaurin Clement Williams, after Robin's middle name, as a tribute to his father.
