WNIT Round Two Matches Set for March 23-25

Several women's basketball teams have secured their spots in the 2025 Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT), with notable performances leading to first-round byes. Miami University will host the winner of Duquesne/Longwood on March 23, seeking their first 20-win season since 2018-19. Washington State also received a bye and awaits the outcome of a matchup between Air Force and Utah Valley to determine their next opponent. Tarleton State earned a first-round bye and will face either Lindenwood or Tulsa, marking their first Division I postseason appearance. Illinois State, with a strong season record, will play the winner of Western Illinois and Lipscomb after also receiving a bye. All games will take place between March 20 and March 25, with the championship set for April 5.
