Revolut Surpasses 10 Million UK Customers

Revolut has achieved a significant milestone by reaching 10 million retail customers in the UK, contributing to its global customer base of 45 million. The company added nearly 2 million customers in 2024 alone, solidifying its position among the largest payment businesses in the market, as noted by CEO Francesca Carlesi. This accomplishment comes alongside a $45 billion valuation following a recent secondary share sale and the receipt of a UK banking license with restrictions from the Prudential Regulation Authority. Revolut is also preparing to launch its own stablecoin and expand its offerings, which include mobile wallets and RevPoints. Additionally, the firm plans to establish its global headquarters in Canary Wharf and initiate operations in India next year as part of its aggressive growth strategy.
