Simone Biles Joins Religion of Sports Board, Expands Storytelling Role

Simone Biles has joined Religion of Sports (ROS) as a creative partner and board member, marking her transition into media entrepreneurship. This role allows her to produce and direct projects for other athletes, expanding the representation of women's stories in sports media. Biles, who has collaborated with ROS for several years on projects like 'Simone vs. Herself' and 'Simone Biles Rising,' expressed excitement about shining a light on critical issues such as mental health and the experiences of Black and brown athletes. Her new position will enable her to explore various formats, including scripted programming and live events. Biles aims to use her platform to inspire and educate through storytelling, while also providing insights unique to individual sports. ROS co-founder Gotham Chopra welcomed her to the board, recognizing her as a significant figure in sports media.
