Inquest Set for Thomas Kingston's Death

An inquest will investigate the circumstances surrounding the unexpected death of Thomas Kingston, husband of Lady Gabriella Kingston, who died from a catastrophic head injury on February 25, 2024. A gun was found near his body at his parents' home in the Cotswolds, and the inquiry will explore the possible link between Kingston's state of mind and medication he had recently taken. During a pre-inquest review, the family's lawyer indicated that there might be a connection between the medication and Kingston's impulsive actions. Senior coroner Katy Skerrett expressed the desire for the inquest to conclude by the end of the year for the family's closure. Lady Gabriella, who married Kingston in 2019 in a ceremony attended by royal family members, was not present at the hearing.
