Oilers' Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl Ruled Out vs. Kraken
Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid will undergo an MRI after sustaining a lower-body injury during Thursday's overtime loss to the Winnipeg Jets. McDavid was injured while pursuing the puck and did not play in the third period or overtime of the game. He, along with teammate Leon Draisaitl, who is dealing with an undisclosed injury, has been ruled out for Saturday's matchup against the Seattle Kraken. The Oilers are also managing goaltender Stuart Skinner, who was pulled from the previous game due to concussion protocol. McDavid has been in excellent form this season, contributing significantly to the team's success with 90 points in 63 games. His absence may heavily impact the Oilers' performance as they navigate the final stretch of the season.
