Silverlites Supergroup Announces Debut Album

A new supergroup named Silverlites has emerged, featuring R.E.M. guitarist Peter Buck, Rich Robinson from The Black Crowes, Screaming Trees drummer Barrett Martin, and singer-songwriter Joseph Arthur. They have released their lead single, "Don’t Go, Don’t Stay," ahead of their self-titled debut album set to drop on November 15 via Sunyata Records. The album, which was recorded during the pandemic, emphasizes 'old school songwriting' with a mix of acoustic and electric guitars and soulful rhythms. Martin shared that the project began in a Nashville hotel room in 2019, with the final mixing completed in 2021 at Flux Studios in New York City. The band aims to deliver a raw, authentic sound, drawing from their extensive musical backgrounds. Fans can expect a 12-track record that showcases the unique chemistry between the members.
