Quartararo Secures Fourth MotoGP Pole at Dutch GP
Fabio Quartararo secured his fourth pole position of the 2025 MotoGP season at the Dutch Grand Prix in Assen with an impressive lap time of 1:30.651, narrowly edging out Ducati's Francesco Bagnaia by just 0.028 seconds. Quartararo leads the front row alongside Bagnaia and Alex Marquez, while championship leader Marc Marquez qualified only fourth after crashing twice in practice and struggling with discomfort. Despite Marc Marquez's strong season so far, this marks only the second time he will start off the front row, with Aprilia's Marco Bezzecchi and VR46 Racing's Franco Morbidelli joining him on the second row. Rookie Fermin Aldeguer also impressed by advancing from Q1 to claim seventh on the grid, leading the third row. KTM riders Pedro Acosta and Maverick Vinales qualified ninth and tenth respectively, unable to match the pace seen in earlier sessions. The qualifying session highlighted Quartararo's return to form after recent struggles, setting the stage for a competitive Dutch GP weekend.
