Boston College, Maine Earn Top Seeds in NCAA Men's Hockey Tournament

The 2025 NCAA Division I men's hockey championship field has been set, with Boston College earning the No. 1 overall seed and scheduled to face Bentley in the opening game on Friday at 2 p.m. ET in Manchester, N.H. Maine, also a top seed, will compete against Penn State at 8:30 p.m. ET in Allentown, PA. Other notable matches include defending champion Denver facing Providence and Michigan State taking on Cornell. The tournament features two newcomers, Bentley and UConn, both making their first appearances in the NCAA tournament. The four regional champions will advance to the Frozen Four in St. Louis on April 10-12, 2025.
