Stephen Chamberlain Dies in Cambridgeshire Car Crash
Stephen Chamberlain, a 52-year-old former vice president of finance at Autonomy, died after being struck by a car while running in Stretham, Cambridgeshire. His family described him as a 'much-loved husband, father, son, brother and friend' and expressed their deep sorrow at his passing. Chamberlain had recently been acquitted, alongside Mike Lynch, of fraud charges related to the sale of Autonomy to Hewlett-Packard in 2011. Just days after Chamberlain's death, Lynch was confirmed missing after the luxury yacht he was on sank in a storm off the coast of Sicily. The Cambridgeshire Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident involving Chamberlain and have confirmed that the driver remained at the scene. Tributes highlight Chamberlain's integrity and dedication to helping others, with his lawyer stating that his legacy will continue through his family.
